v0.1 · work in progress
Orange Accent.
A color scheme built the way Braun built instruments — calm grey plastic, black controls, and a single vermillion signal. One specification, dark and light, the same voice in every app.
Palette
The surfaces are one grey ramp, from instrument plastic down to the text. The accents are the signal and its supporting voices: power-dot green, watch-hand amber, VFD teal, chassis slate. Toggle the scheme above — the page itself is rendered with the palette.

Terminal
The terminal has its own mapping, separate from the surfaces above. Normal 0–7 carry the deep engraved accents; bright 8–15 are the lit display colors. Both variants share the accents and differ only at the poles.
In the editor
// Less, but better. import { Radio } from './braun' const T3 = new Radio({ dial: 'orange', year: 1958, principles: 10, }) export function design(): Product { return T3.omit('the unessential') }
Get the theme
Ghostty first — the terminal is where the instrument lives. Both variants ship as one pair of theme files; Ghostty follows your system appearance. VS Code and Cursor ports follow with their marketplace release.
